Meet Limadou at COSPAR 2026
The Limadou collaboration will be at the 46th COSPAR Scientific Assembly, to be held from 1 to 9 August 2026 at the Fortezza da Basso in Florence, Italy. The collaboration will present a number of contributions — including two invited talks — reporting on the latest scientific results from both the CSES-01 and CSES-02 satellites. Limadou will also be presented at the ASI exhibition booth throughout the duration of the Assembly. Delegates are warmly invited to visit us to learn about the CSES mission, its instruments, and the ongoing research programme.
The contributions cover a wide range of scientific topics addressed by the mission: geomagnetic storm effects and proton aurora detection, solar energetic particle events and ground level enhancements, electromagnetic characterisation of the South Atlantic Anomaly, gamma-ray transient monitoring, ionospheric plasma dynamics, and lithosphere–ionosphere coupling mechanisms. Several presentations will also focus on the performance, in-flight calibration, and cross-validation of the Italian payloads HEPD-02 and EFD-02. Here is a list of the contributions:
